Yep 6800 for Brenspeed. Very suprising the first time I revved to that. I was like DAMN! haha

Is this a user adjustable setting via the XCAL2 or do you need it inserted into the tune?

I hear that, I thought the tune eliminated the rev limiter completely when I saw it rev up that high.

Yup, when you go to install the tune you hit select when it says "change parameters" or however it says it. then scroll to the options neu rev limiter and drv rev limiter and change both.

Ok, obviously Ford tuned down the motor for reliability and emissions purposes etc., but before the car came out they did a test (it was on television, I want to say the Discovery Channel) where they ran the motor at 7250 RPM (on a bench) for an entire 24 hours. Anyone else see this, I thought that was pretty amazing.

You beat me to it, coji5gt, sort of. I think I remember reading a tech article in some magazine when the 3 valver for the Mustang first came out. If I recall, the engine was good for a reliable 7500 RPM off the assembly line.

on the SCT at least, there are two rev limiter settings, drive or neutral. they can be set independently of the other
