what does any1 think of the ford racing shorty headders compared 2 any other brand? for my 05gt

Anything is better then the factory manifolds. As for other brands 6 of one half a dozen of the other as far as performance you don't get all that much with shorties. The advantage is better fitment and better quality materials of the part. If you're looking at shorties they are an excellent choice.

I wouldn't waste my money on shorties unless you want something visually pleasing to the eye. The stock headers flow just fine.

They're ok. The Jet Hot coated ones look nice. Feels like a little more torque down low. If I didn't get them really cheap I probably wouldn't have bothered.

05GT, what other mods do you have? I would get an intake,tune and gears before even thinking about shorty headers.

i dont have much else on the car,just preditor tune, ford racing 4:10's ,slp axel back,and hurst short throw...
