Default Headers Hitting Frame

Alright, i have been having some rattling due to my headers laying on the frame on the passenger's side. The headers are OBX. I have no issues with the steering shaft or bell housing, just the frame on the passenger's side. I really don't want to take it off again, so does anyone have any creative ideas without messing something up?

Oh yea and my car has a springy type of squeek on the passenger side toward the rear. Could it be the rear spring? I hear it some times while slowing down. Sounds kinda like a spring or the exhaust hanging, but i am pretty sure it is tight.

i do not, but ill try to get some soon. it is right where it bends to straighten out right before the collectors. there is a couple of inches just laying on the body.

ive heard of prying it off, but i dont want to risk damaging the heads.

is there anything i could put between it to prevent rattling?

another idea was to possibly weld something to prevent the headers from moving.

either this or redo something to get it to fit!

i think there are a few guys
here running the OBX LT's,
maybe one of them will have
a solution for you.

good luck and if you could get
a pic posted, that might help

If you have the clearance, loosen the 2 motor-to-mount bolts & shift the engine over to the left a bit. Mine have 1/4-1/2" clearance from the outer primary tube to the frame rail. No contact on mine.

i have the same problem. if you are crafty with a torch. you can shrink the header to pull out away from the frame. thats what i had to do with my boost brothers headers
