Default have a msd 2 step/stall/ car question...

I have my MSD 2 step set at 2000 rpms. this is the very minimum i can set it at ...i have tried raising it but it is breaking the wheels loose when i am staged. so when can i change to be able to raise the staging RPMS on the 2 step without spinning the wheels. I have 4.10s installed and 3000 stall TCi at the moment. If i drop to 3.90s or 3.73 would it have an effect? Higher stall on the converter? flashing the converter before staging? If so how do you flash the converter before staging? Dif suspension setup?

what ya all think???

When you got your converter did you get an out of theb ox converter or have one made to get a specific stall? Manufactures who makes those converters can get close usually but not exactly right on unless they have all the parameters they need.

I would call the people who make your converter and ask them if they have any suggestions.

Wish I could be more help.

How has the 2 step treated you? My first unit came bad, the second lasted a little over a month and I'm waiting on my third now.
