You can add the UDP's they don't require a tune. The CMCV motor has to be turned off and the timing has to be properly advanced for the delete plates.

I've been planning/wondering about these things myself... alway blew off plates and UDP's due to low gains but will go with some in the near future (I'm sure i'll max out n/a LOL before going FI) and I plan to go centri so all these things will carry over...

I heard that plates REQUIRE a tune ala 90+ maf on the CAI's. More airflow, hence tune...

yes, your car will stumble badly, might not even start if you put the plates on without the tune. It will throw codes too

e-mail or call doug at bama chips for a tune, he'll e-mail the tune by the time you have the delete plates installed.

Agreed.. Doug bent over backward for me.. until I got the cams... he threw the towel after that and I don't blame him one bit.

Anything short of major mods like cams and Bamachips/Doug is the source!

cams are hard to tune without a dyno tune.

well im waiting on vmp for the tuner i ordered, one semi stock tune with all my N/a goodies (cmdp included) and one for the basic turbo to get it over to his shop, so i f i have to remove the turbo i have a good tune for the car in the mean time. he hasnt given me a status on when its going to show up yet. i guess i could just do my UDP in the mean time.
