Default Looking for the right parts combo.

Hey all, a buddy of mine's dad is a Ford Master Technician and is offering me a sweet deal on a CAI+tuner combo, gears, and a mid-pipe+muffler setup for a ridiculously discounted price. At the moment I'm leaning with the Pypes Mid-Muffler and a Bassani Catted X, but I can't decide which gears and CAI+tuner combo I should go with. I'm considering 3.73s becuase I'm planning on S/Cing the car down the road, but the mad acceleration of the 4.10s is tempting also. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Ok, I'm confused. You say he's offering you a sweet deal (so he must have everything) but you can decide on the gears and CAI/tuner combo? Maybe I'm missing something.

I choose the CAI/tuner combo I want, and he orders it and installs it for me.

Thanks for the useless input; next time it would be great if you answered the question I originally asked.

Play nice gents! ^^^^^

Welcome to the forum and I would see if you can go for a drive in a car that has 3.73 gear and one that has the 4.10 gear set. If you cant do that I would get the 3.73 for FI even if you can go with 4.10 you will have no first gear if that is something you will miss.. .....Your right many have 4.10 w/FI and no issues and yes you can go the SPEED LIMIT without being to high in the rpm range when cruising but if I took the plunge and bought gears I would go with the 4.10's!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I could care less about first!

lol I know that feeling.. there are a dozen of different intake/tuner combos out there... I went with the C & L racer intake/SCT3 x-caliber w/brenspeed tune combo.. dropped more then half a sec off my 1/4 mile and added about 3 mph on the trap speed. I think the C & L racer has the biggest MAF housing. There is this cool looking 'flat' intake out there that sits right where the Throttle body is, but it costs like $850... looks cool.
