My CD player seems to be jammed. When i put it on CD, it just says "initializing" and then goes back to radio. I had just ejected all the cds because it had been acting up a little when switching from disc to disc. there might be one left, i'm not sure. It keeps making that jammed sound before i even start the car, its driving me insane!

What can i do to resolve this myself?

My car was exported to where i live, south america suriname, so taking it to the dealer isnt an option.

I had a burned CD jammed in my 01. Stealership replaced the unit under warranty

Try asking in the stereo section

You will have to replace the unit. There is no other way around it. Contact the dealer and have them to order a replacement. Then read Taco Bill's how to.

1. Pull the shaker out.
2. Throw it in the trash.
3. Buy a quality stereo to replace it with.
