Reminds me off a guy I used to work with that had an LX 5.0 that claimed all kinds of power. Turns out all he had were flowmaster mufflers. Then got smoked by a damn VW GTI VR6. Ofcourse after that he was telling people the GTI had a turbo (which it didn't).

Thanks for the input, I have never raced my car before and am new to the newer mustangs. The last car I built was a 69 mustang coupe with a 351W. The only upgrades that he has that I do not are the cams and electric water pump that I know of. Even though his car is a couple of hundred pounds lighter, I figured it would be a pretty close race. I will let ya'll know the outcome if he will ever man up and get to the track.

There is only one way to find out.Even if he can pass you by a couple of car lengths you wouldn't have much to do to make your Stang run a couple of lengths in front of his.
