Default supercharger fail-safe mode?

Do any of the superchargers have a selectable failsafe mode? Let's say you notice something wrong and you want to be safe and keep the boost turned off. Without making mechanical changes how could you do it?

i know that there are a couple superchargers out with a "vallet mode" . Its just a switch that basically makes it so the boost cant be used if someone has to drive your car.. thats about as close as i have heard of, to what you are asking.

I really don't know for sure, but maybe it's possible to have a special tune made that disables boost?

I was thinking more along the lines of "crap my engine is running real hot" and I need to limp home or something.

I asked around to some SCT programmers and they said its not possible. I think there's a way. I was thinking, if you can reprogram the throttle to read only 50% pressed, when the pedal is physically floored--the a driver (or vallet) can never really go WOT. anyone know if that is possible?

You sure can put a vallet mode you just have to switch the prog with the x2, How I did it is I set the rev limiter to 2200 RPM that way you can still do 65MPH on the road the throttle can be floored but it will only rev to 2200RPM

I hit the rev limiter once when i was stock. it was like the engine powered down....very embarrassing. wouldn't it react the same way if the rev limiter was set to 2200 at WOT?

Why not just have a significantly de tuned tune in your tuner to load up when you wont be driving it....
