Should I be safe?

Should I be safe?
Okay so here are my mods:
Whipple supercharger H.O. kit (10psi, inter-cooler etc...)
blah blah blah...
I will be installing the following mods:
Mac LT headers, Pro-chamber, and axle backs,
thinking about 3.73's
My question is, will I be safe driving 450kms (300miles-ish) to get a dyno tune with just the Whipple tune?
How important is it to have a tune for the headers?

Could he just give bamachips a call and get a temporary generic tune for these new mods - they seem like common mods that Doug would already have info on, should only cost him like 50 bucks, then he can drive the distance relatively safely and have it dyno tuned....?

I think you will be fine with the Whipple tune. The only thing on your list that would affect anything are the L/T's, the 3.73 will just make you speedometer off and the exhaust is negligible. The L/T's will lean out the AF slightly but the Whipple tune is fairly fat on the fuel curve so as long as you don't get crazy with the boost you shouldn't have any problems.
