Default Seat belt sound

Does anyone know how to disconnect that annoying sound if you dont have your seat belt on? I know it's there for a reason but sometimes I just wanna run down to the store real quick without being bombared with beeping.

Try pushing the seat belt release button, works on my explorer and F-150.

Love the car, enjoy the owner...buckle up & stay around to hump your car. I bet when you need it, it won't be your fault or you even see it coming.

Oddly enough, Ford tells you how in the owners manual. Kind of defeats the purpose in my opinion for them to do so.

I have not tired on the GT yet, but in my F150 if you put the seat belt on, then put it in gear, then remove the seat belt, the buzzer does not go off.

All I have to do in my F-150 and Explorer is push the belt release button anytime after the engine is running,
I dont have to plug it in first.

With car in park turn the key to "on" do not start the car. Wait for the seatbelt light to go out then quickly buckle and unbuckle the seatbelt 9 times with the last time being unbuckled. The air bag light will then blink, buckle and unbuckle 2 more times and the "beltminder" will be turned off. You have to do this for both front seats.

actually I opened up my car manuel. It said in the power outlet you need to plug an old Nintendo controler. Start the car and then hold the setup button once it shows the controller connected you press in the order..........

Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, A, B, A, Select, Start and it will work

Hi

Seems a bit ironic that Mrbmp was telling us how dangerous it is for a 16 year old to have a Mustang but he knows all the tricks to not wearing a seatbelt

Just an observation
