Default Longtube Header Question

Ok, so I am getting ready to start my exhaust work, I'm here in Germany now with my car and I want them to know this IS American Muscle. I have seen the Kooks, the Mac, and the BBK, that is what the guys at Brenspeed sell. I have been told that alot of times long tubs stick out from under the car. Here in Germany many of the local roads have dips and other things that will make it really difficult to have longtubes. Anyone got pics of how their headers look under the car? I really don't want to buy the Kooks, that is a wee bit more than I wanted to spend, I really like the Macs do they stick out bad? Any other suggestions?

Thanks

They would be fine...some lts might hang a tad lower but not much at all. Still not as low as the frame rail underneath anyway

In my opinion the roads here (Ramstein) arent any different than the US. You have to pay attention to dips and speed bumps no matter were you are. I havent installed mine yet (BBK LT's going on when I get home) but have heard guys with longtubes and lowered cars have light scraping on driveway inclines. I would love to have my car here and get out on the A-6.

The kooks are actually mid length and have better clearance than a full length.

I had mine on the A6 and ohhh it was so much fun, but while I was there I didnt think the roads were any worse than the roads here. When I went to Lackland, those were the worst roads I have ever been on. I think you would be fine out there. But then again I have only seen LT set ups, I have shorties.

I also had mine on the A6 many times last year. I actually picked her up brand new at Volgelweh or howevery your spell that. I'd say be more worried about the wonderful curbs over there they arent no joke....

Kooks are nice and yes you will not have any clearance issues!

I have MACs and they hang lower, but nothing serious, i have a sharp driveway and have had no problems.. But these are also mid-length and not long.. but they work nice.. Provided you haven't dropped your car to the point its already scraping you shouldn't have a problem.
