Just got back from Brenspeed

Thanks guys for the information. I wasnt planning on listening to the guy at quick lane over the forums... haha, but I was curious about our bottom ends, which this helped to rest my worries...
porshebreath, the supercharger was around 5700 because I didnt need a new intake filter. I was already running the steeda intake so they just used the same intake setup. For the rest of the cost, including labor and tuning, it came out to about 850 bux. This includes the labor for putting the supercharger on, the tune, the labor for the rear trunk lid emblem, and hood struts... They defintely know how to hook a brother up...
And yes, its been like two days since I got back from Indiana, and every time I start her up it makes the 10 hour drive up there and the 10 hour drive back all worth it...

I'd love to get blown. And if I ever pony up the cash for it, I'd definitely re-badge something. I was thinking maybe finding a small "Supercharged" badge to go below the GT on the sides of the car. Maybe an even smaller "Supercharged" to go on the sides of my hood scoop.
Bah...i'm a long way from getting charged....Most likely scenario is the stock market coming back plus another 10%. Yeah that will happen soon...

I talked to Dave from sales on Friday for a good hour about the whole process. About the Saleen Stage 3 specifically...and by itself, Dave's insight suggested that it's pretty safe for the stock engine. He told me of one customer out of about 100 Stage 3 Brenspeed installs that managed to severely damage (rod found freedom) his engine through what Dave referred to as "extremely aggressive street driving."
I imagine you should be fine. ENJOY!!!
I know I will come springtime

I am currently seriously considering the Supershaker before spring also, just swung by Brenspeed Saturday talking to Dave. Shooting for 420-430 whp, nice and safe.
Even considering a self install. I have a very ambitious 18 yr old son who gets into this stuff and has a lot more patience than I do, loves making things work, going to college this fall for engineering. Plus we have a couple friends that could assist if necessary with lots of rebuilding car experience.

Shanec, the emblem is the Brenspeed logo on a polished alum. plate that replaces the polished alum. stock GT plate/emblem on the back of the car... I couldnt find it on their site. I ended up seeing it on the rack in their show room at the shop...
East87 and Toy4Bob, the drive is worth it. It was about 9 and a half hours from Frederick, MD... and we trailered the car up (because of weather conditions)... but completely worth it.

Think I've seen this before. If I recall, the GT in the rear badge is replaced by Brenspeed's logo.
Here are some fender badges, BTW - http://www.brenspeed.com/brenspeedgel.html

Shanec, the link you posted to the badges is basically what replaces the gel GT pad on the polished alum. plate... but I will take a picture and put it on my car domain page for mygt500 and anyone else who is interested.
Shoeys, thanks
