Default Just got back from Brenspeed

Just got back from Brenspeed on Friday night. I have to say those guys are amazing. They treat you very well with the guest house and their service was amazing. They did a one day install with the Saleen stage 3 twin screw kit and had it tuned the next morning. The car made 431 rwhp and 435 rwtq on the street tune. I havent uploaded pictures of the dyno sheets. I will get to that soon. If anyone is interested, I will have pictures of the process on my cardomain page. I will also have a youtube video soon of the dyno.

I had my doubts, but this blower is insane and proved me wrong. Are the power gains I got too much for the stock bottom end? I know many guys dont even touch the bottom end at all or internals and they are pushing more horsepower than me. I am just curious because a mechanic at a Ford Quicklane kept saying I made a terrible decision in spending all of the money for 110-120 more horsepower because the stock bottom end wont hold the power I made. He also thinks that cams in my car would have had me at more horsepower than the twin screw... Now of course I dont believe any of this, but I am curious about my bottom end holding up to the power I made. I assume it should be fine seeing all of the other supercharged guys on the forums and at cruises.

None the less, I am happy with the car...
For anyone who is considering Brenspeed or the saleen supercharger kit, DO IT...

Congrats!! With your power level you should be ok, but as always you never really know. Im sure Brenspeed put a good tune in there, so I would be worried about it. Just get out and enjoy that new power!!!

With a safe tune and non aggressive timing and the HP your at should be no problem for the stock motor. Anything is possible but break that S/C in first and enjoy the new found power!...... I have 465 on the stock motor right now and 11 psi boost and no issues yet...(hopefully none will present before I get forged)

Dont listen to the guy at quicklane or whatever that is. Listen to these guys on the forums that actually have a saleen supercharger with a stock motor. I would much rather listen to these guys on the fourms. Your fine buddy.

enjoy it, it should be good. I have seen people throw upwards of 590-500 + on the stock bottom end and be fine. Saleen makes a great blower and brenspeed is awsome to work with. I order all of my stuff through them.
