I don't have one yet, but I plan on getting the MGW. I've seen many posts about people who switch from the Hurst to the MGW and are glad they did. I recall only seeing one person, ever, say he liked his Hurst more than the MGW. Everyone else who tried both prefer the MGW.

hurst is nothing more then a shorter stock shifter.
MGW or PRO 5.0, (the steeda is a Pro 5.0 knock off) are real aftermarket shifters with percise movements. Ive driven all three and owned a hurst and sold it to get a PRO 5.0 and LOVE IT AND WILL NEVER HAVE ANYTHING ELSE!!
the Pro 5.0 is so percise you have to really really really really try to miss a gear. It literaly finds the next gear

oh just know with the pro 5.0 it can be a bit tough to get into reverse and 5th at first, but you get used to it and its not a problem after a few hours/ days

I have the Hurst for well over a year - still love it. And to top it off, my wife likes it better also (better than stock that is). I personally haven't tried any of the others because I like the Hurst so much.

My psuedo-wife doesn't care for my Hurst, says it's too difficult to shift. But then again, she does drive a VW Beetle.
