BTW, what's the word on getting pulleys for more boost using the new Steeda belt drive? I'm looking for 16 psi. and I am also "strongly considering" this system (I track my car, so the more stable the belts through repeated wide RPM sweeps the better I'll feel). Let us know.

A higher boost option is coming, should be around 16psi. Expect to have it in about 45 days.....

I had thought about that but if I go with the Steeda Whipple belt drive or the 8 rib belt kit which all of them (pulleys) are polished!!!!!

SteedaGus- I like reading about a 16 psi option......nice...as this is what i will run when I get forged and up the boost!...after that I will be looking for a 20 psi setup with the Whipple belt drive!!!!!!!

I also think that a turbine looking pulley would be awesome. Yall know with fan blades.

Steeda Belt Drive + 16psi option = AWESOME!

And I'm no longer "strongly considering," this is my "set in stone" plan...at least some day...soon?

Gus, looking over the Belt Drive, I noticed that the longer supercharger snout that comes with the kit is black. Yet, the polished Whipple systems come with a polished snout. Is there any plan to offer the Belt Drive in a polished version?

It seems like it would look odd if I got the polished sc case and put on a black snout. But then again, the brackets and pulley are brushed billet (and look great!), so maybe not as odd looking as I thought? Or maybe worse?

Perhaps this could be looked into while Steeda is mulling over their pulley options.

Best,
-j

I agree with the above in that there should be a polished option as well as the black for the snout...

We CAN do this on a special order basis. There would be a lead time involved and I would have to check on the cost, as the snout is a considerable part of the cost in the kit.....

To get it done right...it would be worth it IMO....so I will contact you first when the time comes...by then I should have no problem getting the 16 psi pulley or greater
