Default kinda disappointed with dyno results

well i went and put the car on a dynojet dyno and came out with some interesting results to me. I am running a saleen with a 2.95 pulley . I have 13lbs of boost and only came out with 450 rwhp. I would think this setup would have got me close to 500. am i just delusional in my thinking?

Any idea what timing they have your tune set at? You should see 500rwhp with that setup on a decent timing.

i honestly dont know, i have never messed with my ll3 files myself. Hopefully someone else can chime in on that. I just looked up seven leaf numbers because he has similar mods to yours. On a 90 degree day at 17deg timing through an auto he put down 496rwhp His pulley combo was a 3.2 but he also had a 10% lower pulley so it equals out to about 13lbs of boost also. I definately think you could get more out of your tune..

i see you have 60lb injectors but are you still on the stock fuel pumps? Maybe you were getting close to max duty cycle so thats where they left it?

i know my sct tuner has the option open to adjust a/f and timing...will it state what it is actually set at or just the fact you can add or subtract timing

Who cares what you put down on a dyno, they can be manipulated. The real question is what are you trapping in the 1/4 mile? Now that is the measurement of how much power your car has.
