YES!!!!!!! very worth the money, except if you plan on gettin blown in the near future.
you will think it is a new car. with the way the car performs it will make you want to slap ford for not tuning the car that way from the factory. lol
if you have the money to throw around def get the cai/tuner combo from either brenspeed or bama.

buy it now and dont look back! well worth the money and +1 it is the next best thing to forced induction. having the tune and the CAI is unlocking a mass of power that you never knew was there. i was a skeptic at first but i was amazed after the instal. bama, brenspeed, or tillman are all good tuning companies.

A very SMALL percentage of members that have installed a CAI & tune claim they don't notice much difference. My feeling is that they drove like granny before and after the install.

Without a doubt, short of going aspirated, the CAI & tune combo is the biggest bang-for-the-buck you can get for our Stangs. Typical gain is 25 RWHP in addition to other benefits, especially if you have an auto.

My suggestion is to drive the snot out of your car while stock before the install. THEN compare after the install. At that point, you'll have your answer. I'll bet my left nut...

You'll notice a difference, but keep in mine it's only a 25-30hp increase. If you have an auto you'll notice more of a difference. I can understand the people that aren't impressed at the difference after reading about how much it's hyped about around here.

I noticed the most difference in the upper revs. Before the tune I could feel around 5500 rpm that the car would begin not pulling as hard. Now after a tune, I pulls right to and past redline.

It IS the best bang for the buck mod you can do.

I have an auto. The difference was night and day. Timeslips/video to prove it.
Remember...i'm over 5000' with a DA of 6300' easy.
stock 15.1 - 15.3 (had 3 runs)
CAI/tune 14.6 (tune set to shift at 5900 rpms)
tune shifting at 6250 - 14.36
3.73 gears - consistant 14.22 - 2nd gear really spins and kicks the *** end out. If the track was stickier or maybe lower rear tire pressure--I'm thinking a 14.1x

Do the MOD..you won't regret it!

Those who said it's like driving a different car are 100% correct. The difference was noticable the moment I pulled it out of the driveway.

FYI, I went with the JLT CAI and a Brenspeed 93 tune.

I also was shocked at the $600+ price tag, however I hunted got great deals on a used intake, and unlocked used tuner and got my setup for $400. Im sure with some hunting you could get set up for $450 or so. Even if I would have paid $650 it would still be worth every penny!
