BMR Tubular K-Member wth Motor Mounts ?
My stock motor is being pulled for a new shortblock. I'am going to need new motor mounts anyway so I am wondering if i should go with the bmr tubular k member which has the mounts built in. Any drawbacks to the bmr piece ?? it would be nice to have that 20lb weight reduction especially since I'am getting a iron block.

Go 4 it, BMR quality is fantastic
Hi Vcoat, I put one of their tubular K frames in my V6 about a year and a half ago. Absolutely zero problems and tons of fun. I also installed the non-adjustable tubular A-arms with it. These items are lighter in weight than the spherical joint A-arms. Next to the major weight reduction the best thing you get with this installation is ROOM TO WORK up under the car. If you decide to put in long tube headers it's a breeze. Jack
