posted those dynos in the other thread. I haven't decided on headers yet. my shop says jba posted good numbers but the quality on them isn't the greatest. they're gonna look around for me and do some research.

I just dropped off my car today. Should be on the dyno at 2pm tomorrow.

Although, a friend ported my stock TB. Smoothed down all the roughness and filed own the screws. I know there is a lot of banter about that out stock TB is plenty good. But, I am fairly sure, and my friend agrees that the car has gained a few HP from the TB.

So, the cam numbers may be inflated by a couple of ponies

I'm hoping to see 315+ off your dyno charts. Especially running a 93 tune

Ill say 305rwhp....just and rough jab at it .....you really feel the cams high up in the rpms!!

you'll be able to see that in your power curve

I think 305 is lowballing it. I'm pushing 322 on a 91 tune with stock headers. Can't wait to see what numbers I get adding headers and a new intake manifold!

MMMM, but i have a sneaking suspicion that the dyno I use runs a bit low given my current numbers.

We will find out tomorrow. But, I would be very happy with 305

Well.... it did NOT go well at all if I am honest. In all fairness, I blame my tuner for not having experience with this specific cam.

Heres the story, first run only netted 280whp, 7 less than my previous best. Well, after the AFR and timing was tweaked, we only got 282 as the best. So were on the phone with Ford Racing and SCT. We find out we need to retard cam angle timing by 17 degrees. As it stood, it was only retarding timing by 1-2 degrees.

After that was slowly worked out, the best of the day is 291, a gain of 4. The gain was so pathetic, I forgot the grab the sheet. Yes, only 4. At 5750, the motor rejects the cam timing and fubars my top end. But, with these cams... I made EXACTLY the same hp/tq all the way till 5000rpm. Something is still very wrong.

I am worjking my hardest to figure this out. He is having Ford Racing and SCT look at the tune, and I have another appointment Thursday. If anybody has any tips on tuning these cams, please chime in

that is the bad thing about these cams. You have to have a real good tuner who knows how to tune them. I went back to my tuner 4 times to get my stuff done right. It is still only 95 percent right though. I had trouble with my idle. I didn't have problem making a little power though. Sorry I can't help. Good luck figuring it out.
