Default Bullitt strut tower bar and supercharger?

Hey, first off I am serious! lol. My mom has a 09 Bullitt and has fallen in love with my supercharger and now she wants one. But we need to know, will a Saleen fit under the Bullitts strut tower bar? I dont think it would, but maybe some input from what people have actualy seen? I was recomending to her, she may just want to get a vortech for the sake of saving the bar with placard. Anyway, thanks for any help.

pretty sure it won't, I only have about 1/2" clearance between the OEM manifold cover and my Bullitt brace.

Yeah I think if your dropped the motor a half inch you could do it...other then that the brace comes off...save the weight and it really is not necessary for the type of driving your mom will do anyway...or get a centri S/C

yeah, the point is tha its a bullitt and thats where the placard is mounted and all. She wants to go fast and loves my power, but doesnt want to gut the car either.

I have been trying to talk her into taking the little over 5k she would spend on a saleen, and buy the brenspeed V3 kit and then buy one of there complete exhuast packages (headers, x pipe, boomtubes.) The total with the Catted X, polished finish on the supercharger, ceramic coating on the headers, and boomtube upgrade is only $5036

So cheeper then a saleen package, and for her that would be a incredible power upgrade and a huge difference in sound, while still being at a managible power range for the rest of her stock components. And lucky for her, shes got a son that offered to do the whole install for her ;-)

If her car has the brace already on it and your car has the Saleen on it already can't you just try to put the bar on your car to see if it fits?

Yeah but if your going to put the Saleen sc on it you'll have to remove it anyhow to do the install... if it will fit. Try it on yours just don't get attached to it!
