I tried Bamachips, Brenspeed, and VMP on my previous GT, and Brenspeed has the strongest top-end of them all, crazy pull above 3k. Since you have 4.10 I think it would be a perfect combo, you get to the sweet spot real quick and it's all out from there. I bought a new 09 GT and I went with Brenspeed, I'm planning to get the 4.10 gears next.

As far as the CAI is concerned it's a toss-up. I had the C&L and hated the look and fit of the thing. Then I had the Steeda and it was a really nice piece. Now I have the new Ford racing Bullitt CAI and it has a really nice fit and finish. Looks factory, fits factory, and performs well. The tune is what makes the biggest difference.

Pretty much the same.

Who does AM get their tunes from? I doubt they have a dyno out back to write 'em. :P

Well, it boils down to the tune in all reality.

You can go with AM which probably has a good tune, or go with Brenspeed who for sho has a great tune.

I'm sure it'll be fine. Except Brenspeed's better.

I've been wondering the same things as the OP. I see the "Steeda Complete CAI" kit says 35-40hp gains and that seems pretty impressive compared to the numbers of the other packages. I just want to get the most bang for the buck. Seems like most people are using the C and L Racer but if the Steeda Complete kit from American Muscle gives more power then I'm there. Anybody have any input???????

The intake doesn't matter..

a 91/93 Octane tune from a respectable dealer is worth far more than which brand of air intake you buy.

American Muscle is like Walmart for Mustangs, Brenspeed is like an expensive suit shop that will custom tailor your clothes to you.

Not only is Brenspeed better but they flexibly update your tunes.

I still don't get where American Muscle gets off saying the steeda/tuner kit they offer is doing 35-40 HP gains on a dyno. No other combo boasts that much do they???? I want the most bang for the buck and I agree that Brenspeed seems to be the most experienced choice. But If the American Muscle does that then WOW. I'll take it. Any input???
