It draws air through the grill. The dyno numbers aren't up yet on their website. 20+rwhp without a tune. I believe they'll be ready by July. I'll be ordering one and will post installation feedback and dyno numbers. It's different than the norm. I think the concept is great! Now all I need is a hood to feed air to this filter. By the time I have this CAI, I'll have my wideband and datalogging capabilities. What do you guys think?

I like it, especially how they moved the ugly coolant reservoir. This could be the next "popular" setup except I think the price is a little high but not outrageous. I still like my C&L better but this is a sharp looking system and it's seems to get good #'s on the dyno. Very nice find!!

I called them to see when it was going to be available and such. I asked him about the A/F without the tune. I still am skeptical about the gains without a tune. It really doesn't matter to me-my car is tuned. I just can't figure it out logically. I'm going to buy one just to see what it'll do.

Maybe I'm missing something, but what isolates the filter from the hot engine air? The surface of the filter is completely exposed to the engine compartment. It won't necessarily draw air from soley the grill... inflow will follow the path of least resistance (unless these guys have figured out how to defy physics). At least with some of the traditional CAI designs, the filter box is isolated so that air is drawn from under the bumper/grill.

I was wondering the same thing. I asked him about it pulling in hot air from the motor and all the surface area. It's not a real problem. It will be pulling no more hot air than the stock air box or any CAI. He says they're working on a RAM piece that replaces the radiator cover and resolves any issues that there may be with pulling in hot air.

And like Martin said, it ain't purdy, either.
