Smile Best Sounding exhaust

Just added a K&N cai, now looking to get an Exhaust System; which sounds the best? Also does the back presure add more MPG/Horse power?

Thanks All

*yawn* -tired question

If you want a full exhaust, Headers, midpipe, mufflers it's difficult to say.

Boomtubes sound great with stock exhaust and are fairly cheap. ($300) No HP gains

Full exhaust system... could try the Mac or BBK ($879-965) approx. 25rwhp gained.

otherwise there are tons of options a lot sound good and depends on personal taste.

Mishri - LOL too true.

But I love my JBA exhaust (LT's and O/R H with Bassani Cat's) and Flowmaster Super-44's. Sound is wicked, hell...I had a guy in a Nissan actually chase me into the gas station yesterday to talk to me about it LOL. Course the cams have something to do with that too =)

I have got to say that the boomtubes sound great! They are just loud enough. You can put them to sleep when you need to but they deffinatley wake up underload.

Best to you? Or best to me? Or best to onderful100? Or best to owero01? Catch my drift? i HATE these "What's the best..." threads. Someone stop me before I poke ANOTHER sharp object in one of my eyes...

And to answer your question, mine of course.

Note that axle backs and catbacks will NOT provide any performance or fuel mileage gains. Just noise.

Seen to many folks hateing to many exhaust systems around this place. Think the key is to do the whole thing at one time but that is a lot of money. Exhaust, Headers, Cams....
