here are a couple of documents that may help
you with your project. one is the gt500 dual
pump kit install and one shows the wiring for
it.

Did you make sure and get a new o-ring seal? You may already have and know about this but I just like to make sure everyone knows you can't re-use the one that's in there.

About two weeks ago I installed a new fuel pump (stock) since mine was one of the ones under the TSB but my dealer didn't want to replace it under warranty like a year ago. So I did it myself and realized I needed to go to my dealer's parts dept and buy that o-ring.

Also I'd like to say that who ever it was at Ford that thought it was a good idea for the fuel pump access hole in the body (under the pass seat) to NOT line up with the fuel pump in the tank was a moron. It was really annoying getting the pump in and out. Plus that stupid connector that connects near the middle of the pump assembly was a bitch to get off due to limited room. Also the lock ring was REALLY on there!
