Steeda underdrive pulleys
I have a question for those of you who've installed Steeda underdrive pulleys. I just ordered a set, but I also have an electric water pump on order. Since I won't be using the water pump pulley that comes with the Steeda kit, is my serpentine belt going to be too long now with the smaller crank pulley or is there enough adjustment to take up the slack? If I'm going to need a shorter belt, does anybody know what length I'll need, or at least how long the stocker is? (don't have the car with me right now)

Will do. I've got a bunch of stuff going on at the same time (Long tube headers, H-pipe, 4.10 gears, U/D pulleys, electric water pump, idler pulleys, charge motion plates, throttle body if it gets here in time), and I'm getting a custom dyno tune, so I'll post up the dyno plot.

Why would anybody need a spacer for the throttle body? [sm=dontgetit.gif] Nobody's even got a throttle body on the market yet, I'm waiting for BBK to produce the first run...

I saw the electric water pump, and it sounds cool (no pun intended) but just can't bring myself to trust a major coolant device that is dependant on a fuse/electric motor.
Let us know if you see any noticable gains.
And I am almost positive you will need a smaller belt. The pump manufacturer should provide instructions.

Thanks, JC74. Sure, electric water pumps can fail, but so can manual ones (and thermostats) - that's why we have temperature gauges, or at least idiot lights. Dual-stage intercoolers use electric pumps too, with no temp gauges. 
The pump manufacturer probably won't be able to help me with the belt length situation, since the electric water pump should have the same size pulley as the stock one - the problem is that I probably won't be able to replace the freewheeling pulley on the electric water pump with the larger pulley that comes in the Steeda pulley kit when I install the smaller crank pulley that comes in the Steeda kit. Hopefully Steeda can help me get the right sized belt - otherwise, I might try buying a larger idler pulley or two to take up the slack.
I'll post results once I have everything on.
