How much oil does my 2008 Mustang GT take

want to do my first oil change and im not sure how much oil i need. 2 dealers told me 2 different amounts.

6.0 quarts per the manual.

Yes, 6 quarts. You may need an extra 1/8 to 1/2 quart for what'll remain in the filter IF you want it right up to the upper mark on the dipstick (as unneccesary as that is).

Hey Torrediruggiero, for us guys on Metric (Yuck !!) in Ontario, it's 6 1/3 litres
with new oil filter ....

Owners manual has all this info.Don't ever ask a dealer about oil, they could prolly tell you where to buy a nice neck tie though.
