Anyone installed a Rousch cold air intake?
So my brother ordered a Rousch CAI for his new 08 GT, we are going to install it this weekend along with his Loud Mouth axle backs. Any tips or advice other than reading instructions? Do you need a special Torx bit to remove the MAF sensor or does the kit come with everything you need?

Some tips I (probably should have) followed..
Be very careful when handling the MAF sensor.
Try not to leave the throttle body exposed to the dust/dirt in the air...or the air in general.
Before tightening all clamps, check all fitment and check for pinching, especially around the throttle body.
Enjoy!

you will need a torx bit. I have my roush cai on my car, the only problems I ran into was that the hose that hooks directly to the intake was too long, not allowing me enough room to place it in my engine bay, so I had to cut that. Which also created difficulty for the crank case breather hose to snap back onto the air intake duct. With a little force and pressure you should be fine. Dont be afraid to force it, the breather hose wont break.
Other than that you should be golden. Good luck. He's gonna love it as soon as it's on

I got the AirRaid version and it was quite a bit cheaper.
It seems that the Roush name brings an increase in the
price for an item that came out of the same roto-mold.
(AirRaid makes Roush CAIs).
Overtightening the torx screws and breakage are the norm around here.
And loss of the torx screws is also a common practice.
So keep an eye on the screws while they are disconnected
from the CAI and dont overtighten them causing breakage.
What tuner are you using and who wrote the tunes?
