Also if you are doing this swap it would probably save you a lot of money to just get rid of your GT and get a 4.0, buy a GT Front/Rear Fascia + Duals. (If you want those things).

the 4.0L i have at the house is bored .60 over and has forged internals. so im thinking it will be better than the 4.6 stock i have. Plus i know it will sound better since the heads have been ported and polished. Im not just looking for loosing the extra weight but i want a high reving motor that should handle about 9k no problem so i can take full advantage of the turbos. The turbos i have are T3/4 's with a 3 core intercooler.

Check you facts. The car weighs 3550 not 2900 pounds. Dropping a sixer in there to lose 16 pounds is a goofy idea. Why not just put FI on the 4.6?
Why not lose weight a more sensible way? The radiator support from BMR will get you 14 pounds. Why give up two cylinders? A forged sixer is still a sixer.

If you quit drinking beer while you work on your car you could lose 16lbs.

Well the 4.0 motor you have sounds really nice. And it should handle a lot with what it has already. And since you already have the turbo's I say go for it.....

wtf? why did you build up your 4.0 in the first place? losing .6 displacement over 16lbs is a bad idea
