Default C & L intake manifold

Any see the new intake manifold these guys came out with? 27 rwhp on a stock s197. I wonder what it would do for a FI set up?

I read a little about it in the new MM&FF magazine. I didn't read the whole article carefully, but I thought the 27hp gain was with CAI/longtubes/Thumprs...

They also said they lost 2 torque but the torque curve is more broad which is better and more than makes up for the tiny loss at peak.

This thing is very tempting, but it would eliminate the ability to go with a TS or TVS. So I'm not sure what I should do!

I didn't bother to read the whole article in MM&FF either yet but seems like a good mod if you have alot of other stuff like heads and cams.

I wonder what it'll make with the usual bolt ons and hot rod cams...

It gained 27hp with the addition of the Manifold. The car already had said mods and put down 341rwhp and then put down 368rwhp with the manifold. They then put a Wipple TB on it and it put down 372rwhp. Those numbers are on an auto, the dyno was a Mustang dyno. They said it picks up just under 20rwhp on a stock GT. I'm not sure if that with or without a tune.

You guys certainly have a great set of cylnder heads if you can see 100rwhp off of those mods. Almost Ellis Juan territory.
