Gears and tuner problems

Gears and tuner problems
Had a set of gears 3.90 ratio installed yesterday and they whine. Then got home to put my tunes in and my sct tuner up button on the scroll pad won't work so I can't correct the speedo or gear ratio. Anyone have a extra keepad for the sct one or 2 version would be glad to buy it. Just to make it more fun this is the car we are going to run in memphis next week at pinks all out because I broke my torino. I'm almost ready to say screw it. Please help!

Yea, I put in a set of 4.10s and actually watched them properly shim them and I still have a whine... prob replacing them with another set..... I should have listened to others warning about the FRPP 4.10s with the "M" code.... Motive....

I will be changing to another set also. Funny thing tho tech guy at richmond said all 05-09
mustang will have a whine (bs). I don't have the box but if I remeber right these were motive gears. What is the right one to buy? I will say I went from 3.31 to 3.90 and love the pull of the new gear. I will be also using nitto 275/40/17 so this should drop the ratio a little more at the track. Still having fun but discouraged a little bit.
