Also, IMO, do all the modding you can aford with the CAI & tune, THEN if you want to fine tune it more, get the dyno from a shop that supports the model handheld you have (the SCT Xcal's and the Diablo Predator are the 2 most popular) to get the most from all your mods.

Default For starters

I went out today and got a nice little set of flowmaster 40 series with BIG chrome tips (is 395 a good price for parts and labor?) and while i was at it he told me i needed to put my hands on a "Sniper" tuner. He said he could sell me one for 527, does any one know any thing about the sniper tuning system and if i could get it cheaper?

Never heard of that tuner, but its price is steep when compared to approx. $400 for a tuner and 3 custom tunes from the most popular tuner suppliers(Bamachips, Brenspeed, and Tillman).

The sniper is for the all out tune writer.
There are ads in the mustang magazines for it.
Its overkill for the average user. Data logging and such
out the yin-yang.
Heck, it might be right up your alley except for the price.
If you are expecting to get a custom tune for that 'snipper
sniper' you will have to find a tuner that supports the platform.
I would get a tuner that your local dyno guy can load tunes
into. Get what he uses and you wont be disappointed.

For the record, the Predator and SCT tuners can also do data logging, in addition to a multitude of other things(adjust timing/AF ratio/rev and speed limits/idle speed/cooling fan ON/OFF set points/tire diameter/gear ratio, and decipher and clear CEL's just to name a few).

Default ok, what next?

I've decided on the U7145 Diablo Sport along with the removal of my Cat's. Now i just need to know the top 3 cold air intakes, throttle bodies and intake manifolds.

I've only found one replacement manifold which was at fast.com but when it comes to air intakes i don't know which would be best, same thing with throttle bodies.

Any suggestions?
