Bamachips rev limit
My Bamachips SCT3 is on it's way here! What is the rev limit set at for the torque/race tunes? Is the stock one set at 6,200? What's the best shift point for these 2 tunes with stock 3.55's? I would think that the race tune would be higher because of the higher power band.

when you get the tunes check to see what the rev limiter is set at and report that back here. I have mine set at 6700 RPMs and yes the race tune would be higher and the TQ tune lower

When I received my tunes from Doug, my rev limiter was set at 6496 RPMS on all four tunes. I switch back and forth between the race and tq tune on the street, but I like the tq tune at the track as that tune usually gives me .2 to .3 sec faster than the race tune each and every time.

stock t3650 5 spd., 3.55's
I guess 6,500 -6,800 is the range people are setting the rev limit at. I think that I'd be afraid to go past 6,500. I've been trying to find a dyno graph of the race or tq. tune, or both, to see about where the best shift points would be, but I can't seem to find one, surprisingly.

I think Doug has mine set at 6500 on mine (93 tq).
I am reminded of "way back" when I bought my first PC. Bought the 450MHz CPU, got it home and Windows says 448MHz!! You got screwed out of 4 RPMs dude!!
I think most of these guys that have it set so high (6800) are not actually revving that high; they are just making sure that they can rev a bit past 6k without having the computer mess with timing in preparation for hitting the limiter.
