Emergency question about reflashing to stock
Ok, car needs to go in for warranty work tomorrow. The keys won't turn in the ignition so I can use my tuner to reflash it to stock. I've taken my intake off and put the stock one back on.
Here's my question, if I leave the battery disconnected for a little while the car will reflash to stock correct?
Thanks in advance

No, it will not. Reinstall your CAI and tell the dealer IMPLICITLY, not to reflash your PCM. Bust his nose if he refuses you warranty work on the ignition switch.

Take the ignition switch apart and manually turn it to run
to be able to replace the tune with the stock one.
Its pretty simple. You can even fix it yourself while
you have it out and forego the stealership trip and
reflashing of the PCM.
Because of the PATS system, the key switch assembly
is not that protected or that difficult to access and/or
remove/replace in the S197.
