Need help getting legal exhausts - what you guys suggest?
Well I got arrested yesterday because of my window tint and my loud exhausts. The cops here are pretty retarded they only look if you have a "box lookalike" muffler. When I bought the vehicule (2005 GT) the previous owner put some crappy VIBRANT exhausts with deleted mufflers so it looks like straight pipe. Well now I have one week to solve the issue!
What would you guys suggest as an exhaust with good sound, a bit of HP gains and that has the muffler box so the cops stays away?!

just because omething is 5 state legal, doesnt make it legal. thats just talking about emissions. in nyc, if you modify or remove exhaut components at ALL, it a summons...
this is what people dont understand.
people think they know the law and they dont. then they get frustrated and blame the cop and call him retarded..
on nother note, i just got some edelbrock a/b and they sound sweet!

well not arrested but pulled over and they gave me tickets and i have to go get an inspection on the car. Yeah well I live in Montreal, Canada, they only check mufflers here. You can change do mods to your exhaust, you just need mufflers.

Damn, I guess living Cali, especially near San Diego is not that bad after all. I have driven next to and by cops on numerous occasions and have never been pulled over, and I know for a fact my exhaust exceeds the db limit.
