2006 Mustang GT- LT Header Combo Pros/Cons
Hey guys Currently my 2006 Mustang GT has a JLT II Intake, Tune, FRPP 3.73s and Flowmaster American Thunder Axelbacks. It is lowered on FRPP K-Springs(1.5in all around).
I was looking at purchasing Longtubes for my 21st birthday in October(21st). I have narrowed it down to two setups.
Kooks LT Headers + Catted H from brenspeed(stainless steel) $1359.00
or
MAC LT Ceramic Headers + O/R Prochamber $860
I want opinions, but from people that have had either of them or know somebody that has personally. I want to do this ONCE, so i do not want to cheap out and buy something due to price. Somebody point me in the right direction.
Are the hp/tq relatively close to each other or exactly the same?
Which would sound best with my Flowmasters? I know i know, the Flowmasters sound horrible with alot of other setups. I do NOT want to replace them right now due to money.

well as far as power, ive heard that the x pipe increases hp more than the h pipe but the h pipe increases tq more than the x pipe. ive heard a few mustangs with the h setup, and they sound like a beast. i personally went with the dynatech longtubes with a catless dynatech x pipe. i have a magnaflow catback... power increases between brands of pipes, i wouldnt be too worried about. i think it would be a small difference. its more the sound for me... youtube some setups. there are plenty of videos. my friend with an 06 GT has the flowmasters with dynatech lt's and a catted x pipe. it sounds very good. here is a link to my setup... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Eo7SXio2Qf8
thats without the supercharger too...

LOL true that, i was thinking if i went with new mufflers- it would be Pypes Mid Mufflers or Borla stingers. Leaning towards Pypes MM's because my neighbor has um and they sound sick and they are less $..
