I am on the fence between the power flows and the flowmasters... thoughts?
I'm verrrry please with the SLP Power Flos. I paid $341, and installation was easy (well under an hour).

I also have the SLP power-flo on my GT. Thanks to Don I love it. I was originally going to get the Borla Cat-Back system, but realized that replacing the pipes up to the converter would be kinda silly. Anyway, i was happy to get rid of those huge stock cans. Sounds great! you won't be disappointed, and they are a good price.

Black 05 GT A/T, SLP Power-Flo, 19" Chrome Wheels
Planned: C&L or Steeda Intake, Lowering Springs, Tint

Yeah the power-flows sounds awesome, and with Dave's car the midpipe will make it sound even better.

I’ve been thinking about the Magnaflows myself because I don’t want an obnoxiously loud car that pisses people off, but I do want to deepen the rumble and give her a little more noticeable growl.

Loudmouths are ok if you like giving people a headache, but I like to hear a low throaty sound from my car.

I don’t know about the Bassini’s or other systems though. If anyone can comment on something that doesn’t really add decibels but instead adds a deep pithy rumble that would be great.

Also, I assume that installing any axel-back system is the same. Is it pretty much just a matter of jacking the car up, putting stands under the axels, then unbolting the u-bolts, wiggling off the muffler and removing it from the rubber support holder, then just sliding on the new exhaust, attaching it to the rubber support holder and re-fitting the u-bolt?

Yes, but you really don't even need to jack the car up. I took mine off and installed my loudmouth without jacking up the car and it took me about 20 minutes.
