Default o2 question

I was wondering is ford is installing wideband oxygen sensors on our mustangs. I know some manufactures are using them. The reason I ask is because I've been looking into the livewire but was wondering how accurate the fuel ratio reading are.

find a ford performance shop that operates on only mustangs or f150's and call them about it, if not search the threads about the livewire... ive heard very good things about it's accuracy and the "cool factor"

We are not using wide bands (yet). Lexus, Porsche, Mercedes and some Itiallian makes do. If the internal combustion motor does not get replaced outright - you will eventually see widebands in each exhaust port. Then we can meter fuel to each individual cylinder rather than the entire bank.

So what is the best aftermarket wideband O2 sensor set to hook up into a Livewire?

I've been looking into wideband sensors for awhile. I am probably gonna get the Innovate system that can datalog like the livewire can. Fast also makes a system similar to the Innovate. These will cost more because they have datalogging capabilities.

I'm not too familiar with the other wideband set-ups that read out to a gage on the console. I imagine those would be a bit cheaper, and that should be all you need to use your livewire for air ratio data logging.
