Default How much should I pay for a used SCT xcal2 tuner?
I am looking at buying a SCT xcal2 tuner that my friend used on his 06 GT. I am just wonding what a fair price would be? The tuner has a tune from brenspeed for a WMS CAI which he also has. Thanks.

$200? New ones go for $375.

Make sure your friend unlocks the tuner by returning to the stock tune. Otherwise, it would cost you some money to send it to SCT for them to unlock it for you.

Yeah, he returned it to stock when he sold his Mustang. Will there be any problems with me ordering my new tune from brenspeed or somwhere else?

No, there should be no problems. They will e-mail you the tunes, and all you have to do is upload them from your computer on to the tuner.

I would think more like $150 to $175. This is a 2 not a 3. And remember you can not use any of the tunes that are currently in it.

I am not sure if brenspeed does this, but if you buy an intake from bamachips, they will give you three free tunes.
