Default Fuel pump, and electric fan fuse removal..

Does anyone know if it is completely neccessary to remove the fuel pump, and electric fan fuses before a reflash? My xcalibrator 2 states this in the instructions.

Nevermind..........and just in case anyone else might wonder, no, you dont have to do this.

I've never done it. But then again, I don't have a XCal2 I have a Predator.
