Magnaflow catted x-pipe, #15448. Does it come in three pieces as opposed to the stock h-pipe being one solid piece?

I was under the idea it was one, but when I ordered mine from american muscle it was 3 pieces.

I believe there are 3 x pipes they sell. Mine is reg catted x pipe and was 1 piece. One is non catted. Other is a special one and comes in 3 pieces, x pipe, and 2 cats.

WoW... that is wierd...why would magnaflow have two configurations for the catted version? Their website does not mention that...

I believe the 3 piece version is a new version due to shipping charges on the one piece. I've seen 2 different drawings out there and one seems to have smaller cats too but don't know if it's true.

BTW I actually wanted the one piece figured less places for a leak, but I got the 3 piece.

These are both on summit but the 3 piece one cost a lot more there.

Mine was 3 pieces.I emailed magnaflow rep and he told me it was now a 3 piece design to save on shipping.

That kinda sucks! id rather pay extra for a 1-piece design( less BS leaks and fitment headaches)
