YMMV.

Lots of possible reasons why some people can and cannot break the tires loose so easily.

I'm automatic, I went to 3.73's from the stock 3.31's and it made a little difference, I was dissappointed. I just went to 4.10's,... wow! Like they say "don't fear the gear", the 4.10's sound extreme when you think about it, but its not that bad at all... in reality, its worth it! (While I was at it, I got an LPW girdle, too.)

I got mine from AmericanMuscle.com. Made sure I was getting the Ford gears (they do sell both). Also got them when they were the "monthly special". Think it was $150-160.

410s are allways nice. My Uncle put 410s in his C6 Z06 which I told him he was crazy beceause the truth is C6 Z06s gear are amazing and should nver be replaced. We do alot of road course racing that what he set it up for. The car pulls amazing and you really dont loose that much rpms on the freeway this is true. But in 5th and 6th gear you can fell they lost some of their pulling power other than that you really cant feel another disadvantages.

Heres a vid me racing it against 636 with an exhuast and you will see once I get into 5th I should have started to pull on him because he was already topped out at little bit over 170 but I just sat there around 160s. I will upload the vid later there was problem on youtube over the music that was in the vid.
