Installation Cost for shorty headers and catted x-pipe

OK... I ordered JBA shorty headers and a magnaflow x-pipe from American Muscle...good deal free shipping...

I am simply not up to pulling of the stock manifolds... motor mounts... starter removal... also need to get a O2 bung installed (welded) in the driver side x-pipe before the cat...

Anyway, I have shopping for prices for doing an install in MD. So far I have the following:

$690

$450

$490

$450

Anyway... does $450 sound like a good deal for a complete install of the headers and x-pipe?

yes - shorties are still time consuming to install. I have seen $400 - $600 for install.

OK... the one shop who quoted me $450 quoted the number immediately right after I asked and told they have a 15 year experienced certified ASE mechanic. They also said that if one of the studs breaks off, it will be extra. Anyway, this shop (HP custom in Glen Burnie, MD) seems to be the one I will go with...
