Borla to Corsa on a 2006 GT
I finally decided to bite the bullet and replace my FRPP/Borla Stingers with a pair of Corsa's. I love the Borla sound with the top down....but with the top up it can get a bit grating (too my delicate ears).
Corsa is more mellow on the highway, but when you stomp on it, the sound is there. Now my GT matches my LS6 in exhaust components.
I was surprised though that the Corsa cans weighed about twice or maybe 3 times as much as the Borlas. I guess RSC technology needs a lot of baffle plates. But it sure is made well.
If anyone is looking for a (possibly) inexpensive Borla system, it is up on eBay Motors as item number 300329898879 (Mods, this can hardly be considered a "sales" thread in view of the comments above).

Look into the Corsa Xtremes. They are smaller and lighter(10lbs vs 18lbs) than either the Corsa Sport or Touring and still don't drone. The Xtreme is on the right and the Sport is on the left in the pictures.

Corsa's wont wake the neighbors IF you still have catalytic converters. After adding the pypes o/r h-pipe, cold starts would wake most of my apartment complex. i reinstalled my stock h-pipe until i move into a house.
