Something is either wrong with your math & message center, or your car I drive my car like a bat-outta-hell at every stop sign and light, and I have the AC on quite a bit as IN is going through a serious heat wave lately, and I am averaging 14.5 MPG.

I never turn off the A/C and get from 15-22 depending on how much prey I spot while out hunting!

Well I don’t have the message center, but I’ve gone almost ½ tank of gas since Saturday, some with AC some without, and I’ve gone 115 miles. Not the best car for MPG, but who the hell cares. God damn thing is a piece of artwork.

all cars drink gas with the AC on, thats why on all those family trips, all of us were sweating our butts off in the back of the sation wagon and our parents would refuse to turn on the AC because it "costs too much" hahaha

I've been told by different dealers for different manufacturers that today's A/C doesn't drop the MPG when it's on like in the "old" days. Anyone else here that?
BTW, i get 14-16 mpg and if I were to drive any faster I'd be getting tickets. Keep it going with the fast guys but not flat out crazy.
You might just need your mixture checked

i think most modern cars now do not increase fuel consumption or sap the power as they used to, I have seen a '95' M3 BMW lose 20bhp on a rolling road due to having the AC turned on
