what were your times from 2008 on? difference in the build?
Last November, motor was starting to give way. The attached vid shows one of the last 10.0 runs with Lance at the wheel. At the start, you can only hear one car, because ours is dead at the tree. Then you can hear the other car purge its nitrous and then Lance restarting our car. He had a hard time keeping it alive. At the end of the run, the plugs were really fouled and shortly thereafter, the head gaskets blew and the pistons morphed.
It was running 22 lbs of boost on the 76mm. Since then, have changed to JPC intake manifold, rebuilt same 302 stronger, upgraded stage II heads/cams to III heads/IIIspr cams and lost about 300 lbs. So even if we stay at the same power level, with the weight reduction and also chaning to Brisk plugs, hoping to click off a mid 9s pass before reevaluating.
