I just installed a Steeda Tri Ax shifter in my 2010 Mustang GT. The instructions Steeda sent for a 2005 - 2009 and had no instructions for removing the shift boot on the 2010. In the 2010 the shift boot does not come out its attached to the console. To remove the console on the 2010s is as follows: Remove the shift ball, Open the lockable storage bin and pry up the center consle, disconnect the traction control, harzard light, and release switch, prop the console up between the seats and you'll have plenty of room to work.
