Default SOS Gauge pods

I just got the SOS Triple Gauge Pods with the Raptor claw and I have to say that I am not overly impressed. I bought this because everything that I heard was that it was the best part out there for gauge pods. The pods are not evenly spaced and the unit did not come with the raptor claw. I am working with the shipper to get the claw issue resolved. I just thought that for $140 I would get a flawless piece. The two bottom pods are about 1/8 inch apart and the top one is 1/4 inch from the middle one. This does not sound like much but it is immediately noticeable because the clearances are so close. I think that I will explore other mounting options. You would think that someone out there would create an OEM looking part (center pods) that matches the interior grain and color. I was looking at the autometer center-gauge pod but have read bad things about the quality. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Mine is similar, although it sounds like yours is much worse.. the top pod is spaced a little different than the bottom 2. It looks like it has to do with the curve of the pillar. If the top one was lower, it couldn't line up quite right with the other 2 unless it turned a little..

I would definitely call them though, if your gaps are that far out of proportion.

I ordered SOS gauge pods a couple years ago for my car. They used an actual Ford A-pillar part, so it matched the color and grain perfectly. I know they used a real Ford part because the Ford part # was stamped on the inside of it.

Give us a call (866.48.GAUGE) if you wish to discuss this directly with us.

Otherwise, I have contacted your shipper and instructed them to handle your issue however they see fit. If you wish to try another option, I told them I'd help bring the pillar back to see where the mistake was made.

I admit, there is a problem with that part, and I would like to determine what went wrong.

Call your dealer, feel free to call us, and hopefully your issue will be resolved quickly.

Your business is appreciated, and I'm disappointed we didn't live up to our reputation.
