I know where you're coming from. I'm 63. I love my CORSAs. Being made of stainless steel, they'll last the life of you're car. Have a nice throaty idle, quiet as stock at cruise, and only sound agressive at wot (when you want them to). I'd look into SirKnightTG's offer. CORSAs have zero drone too.

Pypes muffler deletes are loud? they sound fine to me.. almost TOO quiet. Compared to the open cut outs, they sound particularly smooth lol.

You want something raspy and farty/snappy or deep and resonating?

I had my fill of real loud mufflers back in my younger days, and really like the sound of my GTAs. Yeah, they are not super loud... but under acceleration give just enough extra sound to let everyone know it is a muscle car. And with a ragtop, I wanted to keep things manageable with the top dropped and the GTAs were definitely the ticket!

And they also look great with the 4in chrome tips!!

Turning 47 this year and loving the Boomtubes! Stock is your best bet.

i had glasspacks installed and they are MUCH quieter than the stock Saleen exhaust. What i love so much about them is that i have zero drone and when i rev it its very loud...... So zero drone, quiet when driving, and loud when you rev her up.

I had Summit Racing mufflers. They sounded like stock but a little louder. Then I went with Stingers. too loud for my kid. Then GTA's like the tone but no bass to it. Went with Edelbrock SDT's. Perfect.

I think you should go with the Borla tourings or regular magnaflow.

I would also suggest Corsa sports. They are actually more quiet than stock under low load and low rpm conditions. However, at WOT they sound awesome. I have gotten tons of complements on my exhaust setup both with just the corsa axleback and also with the jba shorties included.
