Long Tube Header Install???

Good luck. Get the metric ratcheting wrenches. 13mm for header bolts/nuts.
Make sure you totally remove the bolts from the steering shaft, I wasted 2-3 hours trying to figure out why I couldn't get the steering shaft disconnected from the slip joint (shaft is notched so the bolt actually holds it in place even when it is loose).
Allow extra time since if this is your first header install. It took me over 12 hours the first time. Now I can do it in 4-5.

To take the shaft out, you have two options.
1. Take the top and bottom steering shaft bolts loose and remove the steering shaft. The top bolt is a pain in the *** to get to and i dont recommend this method.
2. Put the front on ramps instead of jack-stands. You can use jack stands, but you will just have to be careful about moving the wheels or steering wheel. Then loosen both steering rack mounting bolts. Leave the passenger one still threaded in, but pull the drivers side bolt out. Push the steering rack about 2-3 inches forward and you will be able to remove the steering shaft. This is the method I used.

Good Question. Also I almost got the stock hpipe out except for one damn bolt on the driveside collector. It is really tight and can't get enough leverage to break the nut loose. Going to try an airgun Saturday morning. All the other bolts I've been using a redneck breaker bar aka the handle off my jack! I should be able to finish the header/midpipe install Saturday and start cracking on the cams on Sunday! I'm tired just from thinking about it!

It will be completely impossible to put a torque wrench on the header bolts. I made them as tight as reasonably possible with the ~5 inch long 8mm wracheting wrench that I had. I torqued them had, but not like I was making my fingers and hands hurt. And also realize there's not much leverage in a 5 inch wrench, so torquing it hard in reality isn't all that hard.
I've checked them for tightness from time to time and none of them have loosened.
